What is Hell Like?
And Who will Go There?
The Rich Man …
The Story of Hell and
the Lake of Fire.
(Part Four)
Some people like to procrastinate, and neglect the most important duties
Until it is too late, That is what happened to the Rich Man in this Testimony of Jesus below.
Jesus said:
Matthew 19:24-26 (KJV)
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle,
than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying,
Who then can be saved?
But Jesus beheld t
hem, and said unto them,
With men this is impossible;
but with God all things are possible.
But Jesus wasn’t kidding about the difficulty of a rich man entering into heaven.
My guess is many of those who were goats, on his left were rich.
They live in their ivory towers, or condominiums, or duplexes, or suburban tract homes, covering the landscape.
People with money to spend on hobbies, toys, games, entertainment, parties, and partying, booze, cocktails, cars, granite countertops, marble floors, and everything that impresses those who have less than that.
The pressure to make money and spend money and keep up with the Joneses, in a nerve wracking rat race is costly, not only in money, but in health, and stealth, and image, and such the like.
Having the best gourmet foods, the best wines, the best hors d’oeuvres, you name it, they need to serve it, and pay for it, to keep their image up.
Luke 16:19-31 (KJV)
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
End of Part Four.
.
Or a place to deny listening, learning and growing into the likeness of God.
to those who would come to God to be cleansed of their sin, purified from their uncleanness, and prepared for Heaven.
Earth is a place between Heaven and Hell. It is a temporary testing ground where every person will make his eternal decisions. Each person will choose to live their lives here on earth, by what they believe will happen to them after they die. If they choose to believe God’s Will, they will choose to follow Him into Eternal Life. If they choose not to believe God’s Word of Light, they will inevitably fill that place of “belief” with a message that does not come from God, but has been created for man, but comes from the underworld of darkness.
It is important to examine the validity of the message you and I choose to believe. If God’s Word is correct, every person that rejects his Word will be rejecting Him, and His Son, and All that He has done to make a way back to Him. And to make a way that every person can choose to become acceptable, and be invited into His Eternal Kingdom. Everyone who rejects His Eternal Invitation, and all of the conditions it deems necessary to be fulfilled, will in the end reject His Person, His Family, His Home, and His Promise of Eternal Life.
It is also important to examine the other messages and stories and religions to know the difference between them. Anyone who does this with an open and honest heart and compares the integrity of the different messages, I believe will discover the great difference between God’s Message and all others.
Sooner or later, every single individual will make his own decisions based on what other people have told him, and what they believe about the stories they have been told.
The Story of Creation, and God’s Attempt to Redeem mankind from his own selfishness and propensity to sin against God, and to sin against his fellow man (Genesis 1 through 4): This is the Core Message of the Bible. This message has been confirmed throughout History. And it is as relevant today, and as True today, as it ever has been. And it is important to note: God’s Message has not changed for 1,000’s of years. It is the same today, and it was when it was first proclaimed. People are sinning against God, and against their fellow man, in ever increasing insidious, seductive, and ever deceitful ways. This is exactly, what God’s Word proclaims. It is 100% true and trustworthy on this account.
Of course, God’s Testimony is full of grand themes, great miracles of God’s Deliverance, as well as, many signs, wonders, extreme judgments, heavenly blessings, miraculous interventions, and the call to repent from sin, and to believe the Good News.
In the end, God’s Testimony to Man is that our story ends with a new beginning. There will be a final separation from those who chose to Receive His Testimony, and those who choose not only to reject it, but also often to denounce God’s Testimony, and chose to call God a liar.
Personally, I would say that is not advisable.
Sadly, those who choose to refuse God’s Testimony, and those who choose to call God a liar, will all have their day in Court. There will be Eye Witnesses, and there will be Books Opened. Every human being will be judged and executed according to exactly what is written in those books, the Court Records of Heaven. All the deeds and words of every man (even his thoughts and motives) will be exposed and declared unto all of Creation, and both angels and men will be judged, and have to give a full account of what they have done with the gifts, power, freedoms, talents, resources and Life, that God has given to every one. Once all the testimonies have been shared and the evidenced has been presented, a final judgement will be executed.
I call the Day of Judgement, the Most important Day of my Life, bar none. That day and the decisions concluded on that Day will determine my eternal future.
If I have made any mistakes in this Life, there will be no greater a mistake than not to fully prepare myself for this Final Day of Judgement.
The Judgements given on this day, will divide all of mankind into one of two camps. There will no longer be any rich or poor, strong or weak, educated or illiterate, white or black, Slave or Free, Jewish or Gentile, Young or Old, Male or Female (respectively). There will only be two kinds of people on that day. Those who are condemned, and those who are commended.
Those who are condemned will pay for every crime they ever committed. And on that day, they will realize that every crime they committed against God was a direct result of their refusing to listen to God’s Testimony, and as a result, their choosing to disbelieve and disobey God.
Those who are commended will receive the Forgiveness Promised to All who would believe and obey God.
I highly recommend, that every single individual who has a mind to think, and heart to discern, and a spirit to comprehend, that they make specific efforts to know and learn all the conditions for eternal commendation resulting in eternal FORGIVENESS, and all the conditions for eternal condemnation, resulting in eternal JUDGEMENT, that will apply to their personal lives, and the their court case that will be presented in Heaven.
The Testimony of God proclaims there will be two kinds of people that will experience two kinds of emotions on that Great and Glorious, and also Dreadful and Destructive Day (depending on each person’s personal experience):
- Joy to the Forgiven.
- Terror to the Forsaken.
These two emotions, and the realities that will attend them, will divide all peoples into one of two opposite eternal and permanent places.
- One is Heaven.
- Two is Hell.
Each person will reap the harvest that they have sown. Their good seed will reap a harvest of righteousness. Their bad seed with reap destruction. If they have sown to the flesh, they will reap the flesh’s rewards. If they have sown to the Spirit, they will reap the Spirit’s Rewards.
“God is Spirit, and all who worship Him, must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.” He is the ruler of Heaven and Earth, the Creator and sustainer of All Life. And the Final Judge over Life and Death.
The Enemy is also a spirit, a demonic spirit. Those who follow him, believe in his stories, listen to his words, and who worship in his paradigm, worship in their flesh, that leads to death, and in error that leads to destruction.
Every thing a Man believes, will determine his value system. That value system will determine what he believes about: 1) heaven and hell, 2) God and Satan, 3) truth and error, 4) good and evil, 5) right and wrong, righteousness and wickedness, and that system of beliefs and values will determine and influence his every action.
If a man truly believes he will stand before a holy God on the Day of Judgment, that shall affect his, words, thoughts, attitudes, his behaviors, and addictions.
If a man believes he will not stand before God, because God doesn’t exist, or because He has made a god in his own image that fully approves of his sins against the God of Heaven, those beliefs will affect his, words, thoughts, attitudes, his behaviors, and addictions.
According to God’s Testimony, as soon as a man dies he will be sent to one place or another.
Currently, Hell is a temporary holding place. Something akin to a prison for lost souls. The place of death and hell, only holds people temporarily. All dead people are awaiting their day in Court where every deed, and word, work will be weighed, and each person will give a personal accounting before God. According to God’s Testimony, all people are going to be Judged by God for their crimes against God. Every Crime against God will be judged and be awarded its just and unbiased punishment.
Revelation 20:13 (KJV)
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it;
and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:
and they were judged every man according to their works.
“So what crimes will all people be judged by?” Good question.
In the Near Future: After we die, and after the Day of God’s Judgement is completely executed upon all, Death and Hades will be swallowed up thrown into the Lake of Fire
Revelation 20:14-15 (KJV)
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life
was cast into the lake of fire.
This Second Death can only take place after every single person has their chance to stand before God and give an accounting of the lives they lived on earth. Each individual will have to give an accounting of everything he was given, and how he put those gifts to work, either for the Kingdom of God, or for the Kingdom of Darkness. (See Matthew 25:14-30) From heavens perspective, there is little wiggle room, each person will live with this top priority in his Life: To Do the Will of God, or he will not.
It is advisable that every single person would be well informed on this entire topic and learn exactly what is; and what is not; going to be applied to his account, and why. In this way, the person will not be surprised or taken by surprise on the day he has to given an accounting for his: time, resources, talents, and works devoted to the Kingdom of God or otherwise.
Hebrews 9:27 (KJV)
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die,
but after this the judgment:
In other words, it would be exceedingly advisable to know exactly what will put your name in the Book of Life, and Keep your name in the Book of Life, and what will not blot your name out of the Book of Life: Don’t You Think?
Anyone who truly desires to know about their crimes and their punishments, (the things that will keep their name out of the Lamb’s Book of Life), can choose to find out about all crimes against God, and all the punishments men and angels will earn, any time they want, just by reading God’s Solemn Testimony. This testimony begins from even before the very first day of Creation, and continues to describe life on earth right up until, and even past, the very last day of Creation, as we know it.
This Testimony, which is also known as a Covenant,(even more specifically as a Blood Covenant) has been written down, and preserved, and confirmed, so that men can read it plainly and clearly and make their own trustworthy decisions about whether to follow and believe it, or reject and deny it. This is the Big Choice and Big Question inevitably every single person will have to decide for themselves.
Of course if you believe God is lying about all this, you can dismiss this as a fairy tale, right? But, I do believe, you should investigate this subject thoroughly on your own without any outside voices trying to manipulate your understanding or your decision making process. This is just too valuable a subject to get wrong based on someone else’s shaded or prejudiced opinion: Don’t You Think?
Personally, I will be honest, after my own thorough personal investigation, I have come to conclude that the best understanding, and most logical and common sense worldview allows me to believe God’s Word, and to make sure my name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. But, you will surely have to come to your own conclusion after thoroughly investigations the evidence for yourself. What I intend to do is simple present the evidence here so that anyone can read it and see it, and make their own decision, without too much outside influence.
Revelation 20:11-12 (KJV)
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Ok, that pretty much give s solemn picture of what is going to happen on the day of Judgement after we die, and what God wants us to be prepared for …
But now the question rises: How can we trust God’s Testimony? He can we know and rely on His Testimony with 100% Confidence and Assurance.
Is confidence and assurance important? You bet it is. So how can we establish that?
Ever here of a track record? We someone has a good “track record” of lets say “TELLING THE TRUTH” that means that they are basically trust worthy, reliable, predictable, someone you can put your faith in. When someone has a bad track record, of lets “TELLING LIES” that means you cannot trust, rely on, put your faith in that person.
track record: the past achievements or performance of a person, organization, or product: he has an excellent track record as an author.
According to “The Encyclopedia of Biblical Prophecy” by J. Barton Payne, there are 1,239 prophecies in the Old Testament and 578 prophecies in the New Testament for a total of 1,817. These prophecies are contained in 8,352 of the Bible’s verses. Since there are 31,124 verses in the Bible, the 8,352 verses that contain prophecy constitute 27 percent of the Bible’s volume.
A visual way to portray this:
Approximately, 1 out of every 4 Bible verses relate to prophecy:
Verses in Whole Bible 31,124
Verses of prophecy 8,352
Percent of Prophecy in Bible 26.8%
Matthew 25:14-30 (KJV) 14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. 15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. 16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. 26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. 29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. 30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

God’s Testimony, BTW, has been confirmed to be from God, because He accurately predicts the future. He clearly tells His people what is going to happen before it happens so that they can be ready for it. In other words, God is able to write history before it happens. And he gives us a large number of small windows to look through so that we can see history before it happens, and we can confirm HIS STORY after it has happened. God has given his prophets, many prophetic words. In context, just about 1 out of 5 words in the Bible is dealing with prophecy.
- How important is it to read and know and weigh the things that men will be judged by?
- How vital is the understanding that will come down from heaven’s perspective?
- How can we know what will determine our heavenly acceptance or our heavenly rejection on the day our deeds will be judged by God?
How important? I would dare to say, “It is infinitely important.” I would further dare to say, “It is infinitely foolish and ignorant to turn your mind and heart away from all that God has said, and has given to you as a gift, to help you prepare yourself to become a vessel of honor in his house.”
How can we Know? Anyone reading God’s Testimony with an open and unprejudiced mind, as well as an honest heart, with a desire to discover what God has said he will do, and what God has done in his Testimony spanning 6,000 years, can read it today. Or listen to it being read (for those who know not how to read).
The Word of God has been given to those who will enter into a Blood Covenant Relationship with God, and will kept His Word, and His Ways, without corruption all the days of their lives.
God has in fact, miraculously preserved his supernatural testimony for all–to read and learn.
God’s testimony about Hell begins to unfold from the third chapter in Genesis (the first Book in his word) and continues to develop, and is continually explained, with deeper and broader revelation, until the last chapter of Revelation, (the last book in His Testimony).
God has given his word to his prophets who have faithfully written down and recorded God’s Word to be given to God’s People.
Unfortunately, many are blocked when it comes to the reading of God’s Word. This blockage comes not from God, but from man. God has placed a Door in the middle of the road, the turns us back to him and His Kingdom, His Government, His Wisdom, His Righteousness, His Purity, His Eternal Love, and much more, but God leaves the decision to every individual whether or not he or she will open that door and begin to have truthful, honest, genuine, and authentic (ordained) fellowship with God or not.
The Door actually comes with a Lock and a Key. And personal choice is the factor that will pick up the key and unlock the door, or will
The problem is for many who read God’s Word is
that has been written and preserved God’s Word, God’s Will, and God’s Ways. These crimes will include crimes against God’s Person, God’s Name, God’s Sabbath, God’s Creation, God’s Institution of Marriage, and All of God’s Natural and Spiritual Laws that He has given for those who will inherit Life in His Name.
Those crimes include criminal acts and attacks against God’s Children, and against God’s Son.
