The Definition of Life—From God’s Perspective

Mark this Down: Most Often, Man’s Definitions and Perspective and God’s Definitions and perspectives are polar opposites.

No place is this more vividly true than concerning the Definitions men use for Life and Death.

Should this be surprising?
Yes, if you don’t know the reason why.

Man defines Death as man’s separation of his soul from his body. When the lungs stop breathing, the heart stops ticking, the brain waves go flat, and the soul departs out of the Body forever. That is man’s signature definition of Death  That is “The End.” From man’s hopeless perspective, that’s it. It’s all over. Everything you hoped for, labored for, strived for, dreamed about: It is all Gone, forever.

God’s definition of Death, is altogether different. God defines Death as Man’s Separation from Himself. He is the Author of Life. If God did not give you the Gift of Life, you would not be alive. It is by His Mercy that we live and breath and have our being. (Although man has filled the air waves with lies about where he has come from to deny that it is God who gave him his life.)

God is the Giver and Sustainer of All Life. Not a sparrow falls from the sky, and He does not know it. According to God, He is Life. In fact, Jesus said, “I am the Way, The Truth, and The Life. No one comes to the Father but by Me.” (John 14:6) Therefore, to be separated from Life is Death in God’s Eyes (more on this in the Blood Covenant of God). Anyone who is separated from Jesus by extension is also simultaneously separated from the Father, which means in God’s Eyes, he is already Dead in his trespasses and his sins.

Ephesians 2:1-3 (KJV)
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Colossians 2:13-15 (KJV)
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened [made alive] together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Isaiah 59:1-4 (KJV)
1 Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save;
neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God,
and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Please Note: God is Holy. He cannot mix with Evil. If God mixed with Evil, He would be Evil. This can never happen. Those who want to do evil, and also be near to God, are drinking the KOOL-AID of Satan’s Delusions.

There is a perfect Line that God will not cross. That line by definition is Righteousness, also known as, Holiness. Without Holiness no one can see the LORD. Without Righteousness, no one can stand in His Presence.

Men say they want to be close to God, because they want God’s Goodness. But then, they also want to hold on to their addictions for unrighteous. That’s a problem. If I want God’s Goodness, I also must accept and embrace His Righteousness and His Holiness. God will never divorce his goodness from his righteousness. God is not schizophrenic. He is not bi-polar. He is not two faced, nor hypocritical, nor double-minded. He is the same today, yesterday, and forever.

3 For your hands are defiled with blood,
and your fingers with iniquity;
your lips have spoken lies,
your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth:
they trust in vanity, and speak lies;
they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

MAN has corrupted God’s World. He has perverted God’s most holy and most sacred gifts. He has destroyed the life of the most innocent and most vulnerable for the sake of his own perverted pleasures. He has tried to cover up his evil, make excuses for his evil, carried the image of Satan’s wicked rebellion into every area of life. Then man has denied his own personal evil by saying, “Everybody is Doing it!” And he tries to lie about it in the face of God, but God is not buying it.

The only hope any man has from God’s Perspective, is to: “Repent, Believe, and Receive the Salvation of God.”  But instead of repenting, men mock God, they ridicule his Word, they flagrantly curse God’s Name, they threaten, persecute, and even kill his prophets, and they drove nails into the hands and feet of the only perfect and pure, righteous and true man to ever live.

Mark 1:15 (KJV)
“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

John 1:11-13 (KJV)
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Physical Death for a unbeliever

Physical Death for an unbeliever is The ultimate END and LOSS of All Things. The loss of his career and his belongings. The loss of all his toys, his car/s, his house/s, his bank account/s, his stocks and bonds, his prestige in his education, business, and political connections. All his social connections, and group memberships, and all his hobbies–ALL Gone. All his sexual affairs. Gone. All his family relationships. Gone. Never to be seen nor enjoyed again.  (More on this subject in the Blood Covenant of God.)

Physical Death for a believer

Physical Death is not a problem for the believer, if the believer has a genuine, obedient, covenant relationship with God Almighty, by becoming Born-Again by the Spirit of the Living God, then: Physical death is not a problem that is hard to overcome, not for the believer, nor for God.

  • In fact, in the Kingdom of God a person’s physical death and separation from this world (and his mortal body), is the single greatest living experience a person can have up until that point in his Life. “But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is imperfect, [unfulfilled, empty and lacking], shall be done away.”

  • In fact, It will be in that moment that the believer will finally realize what he was living for by faith on earth, and not by sight, every year of his life. He shall see with his eyes, and hear with his hears, and experience with the whole being in his spirit, that which he only saw by faith previously. “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am [fully] known.”

  • In fact, it is not until that point that a person really begins to Live, in perfect Fellowship with God, and in perfect fellowship with every other single person in the Kingdom of God.

  • In fact, the Believer shall receive a totally new body, something beyond our ability to comprehend in this Life. There shall be no more pain, no more sorrow, no more suffering, no more disease, no more short life span, no more worry. Doubt, fear, anxiety, depression, confusion, irritation, ignorance, foolishness–they are shall be gone and done away with. And the new body that we will receive from God as a reward for our faith in Him, will be nothing like the body we are now living in.

    “How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened [does not begin living], except it die …” (See below for full explanation.)

  • In fact, Physical Death is actually a reward for the believer. Not only is it not a problem, but it is the greatest reward, like the greatest college graduation imaginable, with untold millions and billions of people celebrating. Death is simply an early ticket home. Physical Death for a true follower of Christ is a graduation with the highest of honors, if he has lived his life in true accordance with the Will of God for his life. It is such a celebration, that the Angels of God will join in, with shouts of praise, resounding trumpets, songs, and majestic glory all around.

  • In fact, Death will be the first day in our lives, that we really get to go Home to our True Heavenly Eternal Family.

  • In fact, Death is the Great Reunion, not only with other previously deceased loved ones, but a reunion and fellowship union with God Himself, and a new union with every single believer who has chosen the Road of Salvation, as the Way to Purify himself and make himself ready for the Perfect and Pure Kingdom of God to come, and the will of God to be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. We will get to see him face to face.

The Scriptures referenced above are listed below, sometimes in a little broader context.

1 Corinthians 13:9-12 (KJV)
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Philippians 1:20-26 (KJV)
20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. 21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. 23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: 24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. 25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith; 26 That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV)
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:35-58 (KJV)
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened [does not begin living], except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
          46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
           50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
