The Soul Challenge

 

Dear Friends,

 

The Soul Challenge, or the mind, or Conscious Conscience Challenge is a big hurdle for scientists to explain, or believe.

Where does the Conscience Come from? Where does is the mind come from? How can chemicals and electric synapses explain self-consciousness, self-doubt, jealousy, pride, anger, aggression, peace, tranquility, bitterness, resentment, rejection and the feeling of acceptance. These emotions and other soulish realities go far beyond the ability of materialistic man centered Science to explain.

So, Who can explain it?

Scientists like to live in a material world. The idea of the supra-natural or supernatural causes them discomfort.

But the very ability the scientists possess to do science in a none material entity. The Mind, The Soul of a Man.

 

How can you believe in a Bible that clearly calls for murder and mayhem?

To be honest, this was in fact one of my biggest hurdles to get over regarding the pursuit of faith in Christ.

 

Many disbelieve the Bible for differing reasons, yet no honest intellectuals believe all of the Bible is a lie–they only have problems with certain parts of the Bible, but if you can prove any part wrong, you have hurt the integrity of the whole Bible right? So let’s investigate what some people believe they have proven wrong, and other common problems Skeptics have with the Bible. 

 

 

 

 

Conscience Vs. Self-Consciouness

What does it mean to “lose your mind”?

Where do all our value systems and belief systems come from?

Which ones are Trustworthy? Which ones are Untrustworthy? What tools do we have to evaluate them?

 

 

Does your free will prove the existence of God?

Can I blame my crimes on my genetics?
