Hollywood Mocks God
Then Burns Dramatically [Pun Intended]
(Part 7)
- The 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards began:
5 PM, Sunday, January 5, 2025 local time. The ceremony was broadcast live on CBS from The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
.
There, both the hosts and audience of the event openly mocked God. They unabashedly and repeatedly, blasphemed his name. And like the king of Babylon, who chose not to give God the honor do his name, they chose to exalt their own sin, and idolatry, all the while hardening the hearts against the holy one of God. (see Daniel 5:1-20+ the handwriting on the wall …)
.
Then this happened …
. - The Palisades Fire, began:
10:30 AM, January 7, 2025, local time. It started southeast of Palisades Drive in Pacific Palisades, on the west side of Los Angeles County. This fire quickly spread and became one of the largest and most destructive fires in the series of wildfires that affected Southern California.
.
Over 50 celebrities and their partners, lost their homes in these fires, along with
Their schools, their churches, their businesses, and their whole communities– Similar to many of the alleged ladies and lords attending the Babylonian banquet.
. - The Hollywood fires, the Sunset Fire was reported on:
January 8, 2025, at 5:39 PM PST in the Hollywood Hills near Runyon Canyon Park. This fire prompted evacuation orders for the Hollywood Hills area and grew to 50 acres by 8:21 p.m. PST that same evening.
At this point, those who mocked God on the Golden Globe awards event, had three days to publicly share their repentance, and confess the hardness of their hearts, and their dishonoring God, and stop exulting their sin. But no repentance, nor confession, nor humility has notably come forth, that we know of, and as we can see, there is a new fire, breaking out specifically in the Hollywood Hills.
Coincidence? Or judgment?
I guess every person needs to weigh the evidence and make their own decision. And then act accordingly.
.
Now, who contributed to not stopping those fires?
- The Woke Governor of California? Gavin Newsom, has been in office since January 7, 2019. Race nearly $1 billion for homeless problems.Governor Gavin Newsom did approve cuts to wildfire-related funding in California, despite his claims to the contrary. The actual amount cut was $144 million, which is more than the initially reported $100 million.
- The Woke Mayor of Los Angeles? Karen Bass. Not Woke Mayor Bass. Not the the Woke LA Fire Chief.Mayor Karen Bass cut $17 million out of the Los Angeles fire department budget.Mayor Karen Bass initially proposed a $23 million reduction in the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. However, the final budget cut approved by the City Council was slightly lower: The LAFD budget was reduced by $17.6 million, which represents about a 2% decrease from the previous fiscal year.
. - The Woke Fire Chief of the Los Angeles Fire Department? Kristin Crowley, who became the first female fire chief of the LAFD in 2022.The new, 1st openly lesbian, fire chief of the Los Angeles fire department, apparently focused more on her inclusion agenda and hiring politics, than on truly preparing, serving and protecting, the people of Los Angeles. against the fires that her fire department was not nearly ready nor prepared to fight. Apparently protecting LGBTQ rights is more important than protecting the families who lost their homes in Los Angeles.
These leaders have invested themselves far more heavily into their own identiy politics, and woke based progressive programs, while neglecting their responsibility to protect and serve their community, through common sense, reality based land fire management, and water management assistance systems.
Instead of funding the infrastructure related to fire fighting management, they progressively defunded the fire department, the waterlines, the dysfunctional fire hydrants, and empty reservoirs, absent of water and broken down equipment that is not being maintained nor ready for service. The mayor withdrew $17 million from the fire department budget, and left California dangerously vulnerable to the total destruction of the fires, they chose not to prepare for.
Instead, they chose to spend approximately $1 billion on Green Los Angeles Harbor improvements.
It appears that Their woke agendas have been exposed and humiliated–exposing allegedley criminal mismanagement of the peoples’ resources. In other words, they ultimately failed to honor their oath, to protect and to serve: families, homeowners, businesses, schools and churches in their City jurisdiction.
And the result was devastating.
When tragedy strikes as in the case of wild fires, or natural disasters, both the just and the un-just suffer losses. Both the guilty and the innocent suffer. (Usually it is the innocent that suffer the most.) Therefore, we are not called to judge people, but we are called to judge their actions (or lack thereof), we are called to judge their fruits and their works, their words and their principles they implement on us, and their idelogies that shape our communities.

It’s all gone.
I can’t believe I am typing these words.
After a valiant and brave effort by our friend and hero @kirbykotler_Ross and I lost our dream home. This description ‘dream home’ doesn’t suffice. It was our heaven on earth. The place where we planned to grow old together. We never took our heavenly spot on the bluff overlooking our beloved malibu for granted, not even for one second. I shared our sunsetviews almost daily with all of you.
This loss is immeasurable. It’s the spot where we got married 3 years ago.
I grieve along with all of those suffering during this apocalyptic event.
Praying for all of my neighbors, my friends, my community, the animals, the firefighters and first responders.
More to share soon of how we escaped with Dolly and not much else. For now I grieve.
Our prayers go out to Ricki and her family. (Link)
Now let’s see about Nikki Glaser’s clear back-handed dig againt God below? (See short clip, if you didn’t already watch it above.)
By the Way, this is one of those things that we are called to JUDGE, being “as wise as serpents, and harmless [pure, humble, & unpolluted] as doves.”
Is this not slightly reminiscent of Belshazzar’s Famous Golden Globe Awards Party, circa 506 BC? When less than 48 hours later the entire Babylonian Empire had fallen, and very likely many homes and palaces were burned down as a result.
Belshazzar the king made a great [Golden Globe] feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand.
[Then Belshazzar, mocked God by not bringing YHWH, the honor due his name, through the king’s actions and his words.]22 And thou … O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this; 23 But hast lifted up thyselfagainst the Lord of heaven; … and thou hast praised the god’s of gold … which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:

Janice and I lived in our home since 1979. We raised our children and grandchildren here. Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that can’t be taken away. We are heartbroken of course but with the love of our children and friends we will get through this.
We pray for the safety of the fire fighters and first responders. The Pacific Palisades is a resilient community of amazing people and we know in time it will rise again. It is our home.”

Mel Gibson
VALERIE MACON / AFP; MEGA
Mel Gibson confirmed that his home had burned down while he was filming in Austin, though everyone at home safely evacuated — and his chickens survived.
“Obviously, it’s kind of devastating. It’s emotional,” Gibson said on NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas Reports Thursday. “You live there for a long time, and you had all your stuff … Everything from photographs to files to just personal things that I had from over the years, and clothing. Pretty cool stuff, but you know, that can all be replaced. These are only things. The good news is that those in my family and those I love are all well, and we’re all happy and healthy and out of harm’s way, that’s all I can care about, really.” (Link)

This is the house I wanted. The house I prayed for. The house I worked in blood, sweat and tears for. The house that I put a key pad instead of a key hole in the front door because I wanted all my family and friends to have a code and use the house whenever they wanted. This is the house where I found peace after battling with racist neighbors and a community that made me have to buy it in a trust within a trust so no one would know that widowed, single Black woman with a teenager was buying on the exclusively-held beach. This was my EFF YOU I’m here house. The house that I built a movie room dedicated to my sister so she could see her films in her own sanctuary. This is the house where I finally felt like I could choose to spend time… when I wanted to and how I wanted to.
It is gone.
This is an unimaginable loss. I grieve with the rest of Los Angeles as it burns… and even though I’ve found even words to write here, there’s nothing that I could say in this moment to describe this feeling.
I ask for your prayer for Lael and I.
God bless you.
The Insanity, and mismanagement got to be to much for many wise and wealthy people, who sold their homes and left for greener pastures.
Many sensed things are not right in the head in Cali … Many sense God’s Judgment was and is inevitable.
And Jesus answering said unto them,
Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
How many people have exited California recently?

Be not deceived; God is not mocked:
For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corrupt}ion; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
