—Minority

(Part 2)

Am I in “the Majority” or “the Minority” ?

This begs the question:

    • How can you or I know for sure: That we are indeed bonafide members of the chosen “Few”?  Or …
    • If we are in fact a part of a vast crowd of the unselected “Many” in the Sight of God?

Important note:  This is not a subject that we should be somewhat nonchalant about. Eternity hangs in the balance. With that in mind it’s also highly important to see God’s perspective on these questions. In other words we need to understand the position of heaven and how it will be applied to our individual lives and actions. It’s not good enough just to believe what someone has said without investigating the details on our own. Therefore the challenge of this message or these questions it’s a personal one. Personally, I don’t want to have made an eternal mistake trusting in a false idea, and then sharing that same false assumption with my friends and family. I have come to understand that I can do better than that, and that actually God expects me to do better than that. As a result, I want to pass on that conviction to others, who also want to do better than just trying to slide through Life without really knowing, or really living through the eyes of God, having our minds dulled and very possibly deceived by the traditions of men. This is exactly what the savior came to save us from. I pray that this website and this series specifically will be a tool in the hands of the diligent, to specifically answer the difficult questions of Faith where the rubber meets the road.

    • Will I diligently seek to find and discover God’s will and ways? Or ….
    • Will I default to the easy route, by simply defaulting to follow man’s majority opinion, and the slippery slope of man’s self justification?

Here Comes the Big Question:

How important is it to me
To “Know the Difference” ?

Answering these questions from God’s Perspective creates critical points in determining one’s own eternal status.

These critical points of decision will cause a person to either depart from the Way and Will of God (taking the broad road that the majority choose to follow–that has no promise of life), or they will cause a man to cling to His Word, His Faith, His Kingdom, His Righteousness, His Holiness, and All of His Promises (trusting in the narrow way that is promised to lead us into His eternal life).

Note: Refusing to investigate these questions: shows a particular disdain and indifference to the Will and Ways of God.

Not caring about actually knowing, and actually becoming what God has designed you or I to become–being Created into His Image, in His Full Intention and Full Execution–shows both inwardly and outwardly, who the person we really wants to serve.

The choice you and I have to make is the same choice Adam and Eve had to make, the same choice Lucifer had to make before them: do I want to serve myself first putting myself on the throne, or do I want to serve God first putting him on the throne of my life…?

Those who care about “bearing God’s Image”, and being Made into His Likeness, will take seriously His Word, and His Perspective on everything happening in the world around them.

So, one of the first witnesses (internally–to ourselves, and externally–to those around us), and one of the first evidences that we are drawing near to God and choosing to become part of His select minority group of people, is that we actually care about knowing the factors, the elements, the conditions, the requirements, and especially the Commandments of Jesus, aka, Yeshua, the Man God sent to Teach us about His Salvation.

This, in itself, is enough evidence for such a person to accurately place himself or herself in the classification of “The Many,” or the “The Few.”

That one test being done  (Do I care about learning the Will of God?), we must press on.

We have 5 more tests to pass,
Five more questions to answer,
To see if we are the real deal.

If we truly want to thoroughly investigate whether or not we belong to the “Many” or the “Few” we cannot stop here.

Each one of these 5 questions, takes us one layer deeper, and another step farther in our journey.

For this cause is truly not encompassed by one single step, but is better understood as a heavenly expedition, an arduous adventure, an ultimate exploration that will lead us through our incomparable pilgrimage out of Death into Life. Such a journey will take an entire lifetime to discover and uncover.

As we have already discovered, those not interested in the question, will also likely be uninterested in the journey, thus disqualifying them from Heaven’s Highest Calling—for indeed it is a High Calling, to Hear the Voice of God and Follow it.

Our Whole Life Encompassing Journey is a deeply patterned and engrained pathway, that many have traveled before us, and hopefully, many will trod on behind us, even following our noble example. And that brings up a good question: How many are now truly following the example of the Godly Journey? How many are truly showing others from our own example, what it looks like to be a true follower Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel? Yeshua is the Hebrew name for Jesus. And the name Yeshua means salvation.

The Truth be Told: if you or I are truly following God, it will be confirmed by his word in specific detail. Yes …  It is a unique path, but also a familiar one to all who have followed it before us. We all share the same footsteps as the Saints and Prophets of old. We share the same questions, and must walk in the same answers as the apostles that have walked before us.

When we undertake the same journey, we will experience many of the same trials. We have to overcome the same obstacles, the same enemies, the same temptations, the same lies, the same tribulations.

These difficulties should not detour us, or diminish our spirit. In fact, they should do the opposite, by inspiring us, strengthening us, and calling forward.

James 1:2-8 (KJV)
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

In Christ, We are Not to worry. In Christ, we  share in the same Grace, the same Hope, the same Strength, and the Same Protection and Provision, as the Apostles, if we stay on the path and do not faint.

In Christ, we share the same sap of the pie the same sap of the vine, that the apostles shared. And thankfully we have access to the same forgiveness, the same love, the same hope, and the same spirit of humility. Everything we need for life and godliness is fully provided in the blood covenant of Christ.

This book has for several centuries been the number two best seller on an international scale, second only to the Bible itself in sales and readership. May it be a blessing and a joy for you to read.
