The earliest followers of Jesus, all lived in: One Accord. They were a tight knit group. They were bonded together by eternal words, made in an eternal covenant: a blood covenant that could NEVER be changed, diluted, deluded, nor deleted.

What does it mean to live in
ONE ACCORD?

 Act 1:14

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

Act 2:1

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

 Act 2:46

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

In simple terms: one accord means to walk in agreement.

The prophet Amos asked the question:

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Amos 3:3

The answer to Amos’s question is simple: no. No, people cannot walk together, unless they agree, unless they walk in one accord.

The concept of one accord actually goes even deeper than walking in agreement. Men and women can mentally agree on specific ideas, but to walk in one accord goes deeper than that. That is, believers share the same mindset, the same purpose for living, the same master, directing their lives, the same fervency of Spirit, with the same goal of reproducing–new converts to become living examples of faith in the risen Christ, bearing the same eternal fruit, and receiving the same treasures of heaven, following the same desire and pursuit to become pleasing to their heavenly king, in all aspects of life in God, and in relationship with one another, and with heaven itself.

Simply put, new testament followers of Christ, united themselves, under the commandments of Jesus.

It is worthy to note that Jesus teachings took nothing away from the Old Testament commandments, but only that He fulfilled them.

One strong example: people no longer needed to sacrifice dead animals to a living God, because the living God had come to sacrifice himself once, and for all. Animal sacrifice was only a temporary prophetic picture, showing unholy men, the cost of sinning against a holy God. Now that that prophetic picture has been fulfilled, there is no need to fight a battle that has already been won.

Another example: men no longer needed to keep specific days in order to draw near and worship the Christ, because Christ came to draw near to men so they could worship God: every day of the week, every hour of the day–by living inside of them.

.
Men no longer need a temporary outward priest to declare them, and keep them: clean before God.  They now have an eternal and internal Priest that will never leave them, no, nor never forsake them. This Great High Priest makes them clean by the eternal blood of the Lamb, that was slain before the foundations of the Earth were laid down.

Because of this New LORD, that has come down from Heaven to Live among Men: Everything has changed. And all things have been made New!

Those who will enter into His Eternal Covenant, will experience a unity, harmony, bond, love, faith, hope, purity, and power, that those outside His New Covenant have no ability to see, grasp, believe or even acknowledge.

The fact that early church leaders, servants, and all those who followed Christ lived in One Accord, was a result, of being connected to the Holy One of Israel First, and then being connected to one another Second.
